So as mentioned before in the previous post by my sister, Aubrey had an influence in the name picking of our little Addison. One day we were all in my room about a month before I was due and I was bugging Kent AGAIN, about picking out a name. I asked Aubrey what she wanted to name her and she told me Kari. From that point on, that is the only thing she would call her, "My baby Kari". No matter what , that was it. So, me being me, decides, it should be her middle name. You know, that way when she called her Kari at least it was part of her name, plus I thought it would be a cute family story about how Addison got her middle name.
Joke was on me. Ever since Aubrey's first visit to the hospital, she has refused to call Addison anything but Girl.
For example:
"Mom, I want to hold my girl."
"Hey, where's my girl?"
"Here's my girl's blankie"
"My girl so cute!"
"Take my picture with my girl."
And when she saw her girl getting her first sponge bath at home, she freaked out about the umbilical cord. She started yelling "Oooh, gross!........my eyes!..........don't let me see it!.....gross!" And then ran out of the bathroom.

The other "girl" makes me laugh!
I wish you could have recorded her yelling, "gross...my eyes!..." so others could fully appreciate it. I can totally hear her in my head and can only imagine the look and out of control body language that must have accompanied the event.
That girl makes me laugh. And that other girl is just too stinkin' cute. Spencer was trying to demonstrate to Dr Andert today the way Addie's cheeks look. It was pretty funny.
Too funny - "gross...my eyes!" That's hilarious.
I can also picture Aubrey saying that...wearing your shoes, Colton's shorts, and a cowboy hat (no shirt). So funny!
all i can envision is a big head of hair flying out of the bathroom with a run that resembles phoebe's!!! now i have another girl to love...yay!!!
that was funny about Aubrey and the cord I think I can imagine her the way she would say that
love,
Casey
