On the Fence

I can't decide if the baby counter is cute or creepy....And we can't decide on a name either, if anyone of you have any ideas I would appreciate the help. Let me know what you think about the counter too...

Stank Ear

Vader has been smelling rather, potent lately, so finally I was kinda smelling around him, trying to locate the source. BINGO! His left ear looked nasty inside. And smelled. So I made an appointment with the vet.

UH YEAH! A $1oo freakin dollars later an we have medicine and ear cleaner for his yeast infection!! I had NO idea dog's could get a yeast infection in their ear! So weird. We have to give him ear drops twice a day for 2 weeks and clean them every other day for 2 weeks as well. Oh, and don't forget to massage the ear after! The best part is, Kent has to help me and he doesn't even want the dog. Maybe this will bring them closer.......then again, probably not, but at least when Vader shakes his head it won't make us want to rip our noses off anymore.

Picking Up My Paycheck

Last night the kids and I went to Let's Party to pick up my paycheck. When we were getting back in the car Colton asked me...
"Mom, who is Let?"
I was totally confused
"Who?"
"Let, who is Let?"
Then the Light bulb!
"I know the name of the store is Let's Party, but it just means, Like, hey let's go party, or let's go to the store, it is just the store's name"
Colton replied
"No, look the signs say that it is the Halloween Store"
The store still had the same Halloween signs outside that we did at our store.
So I tell him
"No, this is Let's Party, Gabriel just hasn't taken down the Halloween signs yet"
We continue to discuss how Gabriel will get the signs down as we head off to Amy's house.

A million hours later we are driving home and pass Let's Party.
Colton says
"Hey look mom, it's Gabriel's Party!"
I start laughing and tell him,
"No, it's not Gabriel's Party, it's Let's Party!"
"But mom, who is Let?"

Milestone

After countless attempts and a million excuses on my part and Aubrey's, she FINALLY went potty on her little potty chair! Fingers crossed she will pick it right up and I can have a few month break before starting all over again.

This accomplishment came with much time and patience from the both of us. I had to talk her into sitting on the chair by staying right by her and looking at barbies on toysrus.com. After a few minutes she decided she wanted "laddin on the laptop". So she got up brought it back, and began again. Finally, after the Genie was set free, and the credits rolled......The beautiful sound of...well, we all know what it sounds like. Anyway, she did it! She wanted to call Gamma Lo because "She be so happy". We danced, hugged and then called her dad.

So, mission accomplished. After the flushing, the only proof we had of her long and diligent try was the very red ring around her cute little cheeks!

Wasn't this just yesterday........

Halloween 2008

Aubrey was an Indian and Colton was the Rhino Ranger from Jungle Fury. Neither one would really cooperate for a good picture.

We spent the holiday going to the Toys R Us parade(totally lame), trick or treating at family and friends, and trunk or treating at the church. Then we finished up with some good food at my mom's house. All in all it was a fun Halloween. I can't even imagine what next year will be like with 3....

Funny, and Not So Funny.....

Here's the funny part...

Colton:(rubbing my stomach)Mom, am I petting it?

You know, the baby....the one that he reminds me was supposed to be a boy, and then follows up with "probably the next one will be a boy." Next one??

The not so funny part....

So I was vacuuming, and I hear Aubrey yelling "Help Mom! I'm stuck, I'm stuck" I turn around, and she has the vacuum cord and the string of her cowboy hat wrapped around her neck. It took some twisting and maneuvering to get her loose. This girl gets herself into more pickles...
