So, you know that overwhelming feeling of love you have for your sleeping child?
That very same child that after about two minutes of being awake in the morning has you yelling or crying or locking yourself in the bathroom or counting to bad word 10 in your head?
And that all day long exasperates you, and exhausts you because of the energy it requires to be patient and all that good stuff?
Finally you make it through the day and you decide that you will not lose the battle of daily scriptures and prayer.
And then when it is time to kneel down that same child that was mentioned before jumps up, raises her hand and says "We have to talk about Pa and he's back"
So Pa is included in the prayer, but this little exhausting child wants to say one of her own, which doesn't happen often, so of course you never say no to the desire to say a prayer even though it means another few minutes before bed....and the prayer goes something like this.....
Me: Dear Heavenly Father
Aubrey: Dear Heavenly Father
Me: Thank You for this day
Aubrey: Thank You for a day
Me: Thank You for my family
Aubrey: Lets talk about Pa and he's back now...
My cup runneth over.....

Thank goodness for "those moments". :-)
For a little girl who sometimes won't give her Pa the satisfaction that she loves him...she surely will be the one to watch out over him...all last night she kept telling Colton to be careful of Pa's back! That was so an Aubrey moment for sure at prayer time....:) Love my Pops...
oh she is sweet.
How is it possible to love these beings so much and also want to strangle them half the time?
